Bettyann Marks, 92, of Earlville, IL passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Mendota Community Hospital, Mendota, IL. She was born December 16, 1920 in Surprise, NE the daughter of Harold and Vivian (Lett) Shrader. She married Edward N. Buffington in 1942, later she married Edgar Marks in 1955. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville. Before retiring she sold Avon, worked at G.E., was a waitress and babysat for several families in the area.

She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy (Richard) Riva of Earlville, IL, Donna (Curtis) Imel of Ottawa, IL and Wendy (Kevin) Eames of Ottawa, IL; two sons, Gary (Janice) Buffington of Earlville, IL and Slam (Melissa) Buffington of Denton, TX; 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one brother, Don (Phyllis) Shrader of Lincoln, NE; and several nieces and nephews, her special friend Robert "Chip" Hughes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husbands, two sons, Lance Marks, Jon Buffington, two brothers, Bob and Dick Shrader, and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church 415 S. East St. Earlville, IL with Rev. Tammy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the church until the services at 11:00.
