Betty R. Zimmerman, 87, of Sandwich, Illinois passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich. She was born October 18, 1928 in Heyworth, IL one of 15 children, the daughter of Elmer and Goldie Rousey Shannon. She married Keith Zimmerman on March 15, 1947.
She is survived by one daughter Vickie Bob Middleton of San Benito, TX, two sons, Gary Darlene Zimmerman of Earlville, IL and Scott Anita Zimmerman of Somonauk, IL; six grandchildren, Lyn Homer Hulon of Sandwich, IL, Tina Jeff Vodar of Batavia, IL, Jeremy Jen Zimmerman of Somonauk, IL, Jason Wendy Zimmerman of Mendota, IL, Dustin Kim Zimmerman of Dallas, TX and Keith Heather Anderson Zimmerman of Somonauk, IL; eight great grandchildren, Coleton and Cody Hulon, Avery and Alyssa Vodar, Amaya and Brock Zimmerman, Zoe and Bailee Zimmerman, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Keith Zimmerman, one son Rodney Zimmerman, one granddaughter Kristen Zimmerman, one daughter-in-law Sharon Zimmerman, twelve brothers and sisters.
