Betty L. Green, 70, of rural Leland, IL passed away Wednesday, August 04, 2010 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born July 7, 1940 in Rolla, Missouri, the daughter of Elbert and Dorothy Roark Kimmel. She married Gerald Green on May 13, 1966 at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. Before retiring she worked at Caterpillar in Montgomery, IL for 26 years.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald; four daughters, Terri (Billie Jean Jacobs) Polson of Houston, TX, Janet (John) Anderson of Aurora, IL, Shu (Ron) Stark of Somonauk, IL, Kelly Green of Aurora, IL; one son, Gerald Green Jr. of Rochelle, IL; ten grandchildren, Laura (Matt) Russell, Jennifer Stangeland, Christy (Cory) Kelson, John (Annette) Anderson Jr., Matt and Hollie Stark, Kendall Green, Dyllon Clausen, Dylon Contreras and Mia Perna; three great grandchildren, T.J. Stangeland, Anthony Kelson and Brianna Russell; one sister, Billie Duncan of Fenton, MO and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Carl.
