Ardith R. Fritz

Ardith Rae Fritz, 80, of Earlville, IL passed away Friday, September 18, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was born October 14, 1934 in Mendota, IL, the daughter of Frank and Neva Billings Spenader. She attended Mendota Schools graduating from Mendota High School in 1953. She married Theodore “Ted” Fritz on June 12, 1955 in Mendota. She enjoyed being outside working in her garden and spending time with her pets. She was an avid Chicago Bear’s fan, and enjoyed spending time with her family. For a short time she worked with her husband at Ted’s Red Fox. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville.
She is survived by her husband, Ted; three sons, Craig Linda Fritz of Bloomington, IL, Mark Sina Fritz of Millbrook, IL and Christopher Fritz of Earlville; four grandchildren, Lisa Christianer, Beth Fritz, Dana Jim Cartwright, and Scott Fritz; one great grandson Owen Fritz; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dr. Wayne Spenader and Tony Spenader, one sister, Beverly Higgins. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church 415 S. East St. Earlville with Rev. Tammy Anderson officiating. Private burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015 in the church until the time of service at noon.
