Anthony "Chris" Dubois

Anthony Christopher “Chris” DuBois, 43, of Somonauk, IL passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, IL. He was born April 1, 1970 in Buffalo, NY the son of Jule and Barbara (Crayton) DuBois. He married Kimberly Fuller on May 3, 1997 in Waterman, IL. Chris graduated from Waterman High School in 1988. He joined the Somonauk Fire Department in 1993. Chris enjoyed NIU Football games, his children’s functions at school, family vacations and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Kim DuBois of Somonauk, IL; his parents, Jule and Barbara DuBois of Polo, IL; his son, Jacob Ryan DuBois of Somonauk, IL; his daughter, Morgan Elizabeth DuBois of Somonauk, IL; four sisters, Nona (Ron) Forster of Polo, IL, Antoinette (Donald) Ayers of Richmond, VA, Shelley (Doug) Hoag of Tucson, AZ and Julie (John) Mihelic of Alabaster, AL; four brothers, Jule Jay DuBois, Jr. of Polo, IL, Andrew (Ann) DuBois of Polo, IL, Hart (Kristin) DuBois of Polo, IL and Bruce DuBois of Polo, IL; his parents-in-law, Ron and Beverly Fuller; one sister-in-law, Ronda Fuller of Burns, TN; one brother-in-law, Derek (Eva) Fuller of DeKalb, IL; many aunts and uncles; twenty-five nieces and nephews and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Patrick DuBois, his grandparents, Edward and Edith Crayton and Florence DuBois, his great-grandmother, Nana Mayme Guth, and Chris’ best friends, Mugsy and Cody.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL with Pastor Del Keilman officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. Memorials may be directed to Jacob and Morgan DuBois education fund.
