Annie C. Gunderson, 81, of Sandwich, formerly of Leland, IL passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich. She was born October 15, 1930 in Sandwich, IL the daughter Harry and Kate (Himmelburger) Stoudt Sr. She married Graham Gunderson. Annie was formerly employed at C.T.S. Knights in Sandwich for many years. She managed the Leland American Legion until her retirement.
She is survived by two sons, Rodney (Cindy) Gunderson and Kennan (Sheri) Gunderson both of Sheridan, IL, one daughter, Dianne (Wayne) Clement of Oswego, IL; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two sisters, Marguerite Chamberlain and Charlotte Claude both of California, one brother, Charles “Toby” Stoudt of Orion, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Graham, one son, Steven and eight brothers and sisters.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. Memorials may be directed to Unity Hospice.
