Anna S. (Ploger) Henrich passed away on April 12, 2018. She was born on March 12, 1933 in Fox Township to Harry and Dorothy Ploger.
She was a telephone operator and employed by CTS Knights prior to marrying Robert Henrich on March 14, 1953. She was a proud mother of two sons and a partner of The Henrich Shop in Somonauk until her retirement and its closing.
She was actively involved in the local TOPS chapter for 47 years and was a member of The United Church of Sandwich. Many people enjoyed her famous peanut brittle during the holidays.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Gary Henrich and Ron (Kim) Henrich, both of Somonauk; one granddaughter, Jenna Henrich; one brother, Harry Ploger, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dorothy and Charlotte.
Memorials may be directed to The United Church of Sandwich or The Open Door.
Visitation will be April 15, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on April 16, 2018 at The United Church of Sandwich with Rev. Steve Mindrup officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Sandwich.
