Anna L. Dial, 80, of Sandwich, IL passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at her son’s home in Sandwich, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 27, 1932 in Fairfield IL. the daughter of Paul and Anna (Vaughn) Sarks. She was a life time-member of Primitive Baptist Church in Fairfield. Anna enjoyed shopping, dining out, crocheting, knitting, cross stitching, jigsaw puzzles, reading and recently her computer. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family to whom she devoted her life. Anna was employed at Sandwich Community Hospital from 1965-1972. Then later moved to Centralia and worked at the hospital there for 16 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Buchanan of Morris, Nicki (David) Butterfield of Sheridan; two sons, Robin Terry (Anna) Jackson of Fairfield, IL, Robert (Sandi) Rosenberger of Sandwich: twelve Grandchildren, seventeen Great Grandchildren, four Great Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Paula Gregory , Becky Carter both of Geff, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Evelyn Naney Jackson; two brothers, Aaron L. Sarks and Jimmy Dale Sarks; Grandson, Rob Jackson; Son-in-law Elmer Buchanan III
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Fairfield. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL. Memorials may be directed to Fox Valley Older Adult Services or Seasons Hospice.
