Ann E. Gephard

Ann E. Gephard, 79, of Hinckley, IL passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at DeKalb County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in DeKalb. She was born January 9, 1936 in Montgomery, IL the daughter of John and Cora (Mosley) Weber. She married Donald C. Gephard on April 8, 1961. Ann was active all her life, working alongside her husband in their business- Donmar Distributors in Aurora, IL for many years. She bowled for many years and was a former member of the 600 club. She loved gardening, being outside in the yard and playing poker with friends.

She is survived by one daughter Dianne (John) Curry of Hinckley, IL; her step-children, Donna (Barry) Rogers, David Gephard and Stephen Gephard all of CT, Granddaughter, Andrea Curry of Hinckley and Grandsons, Donald and Kevin Alger of CT, Sister-in-laws, Anita Watkins of Live Oak, FL and Myrt Weber of Oswego, IL and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Cora Weber, her husband of 50 years Donald Gephard, her sisters, Margaret and Nina and brother, Glenn, nephew Terry and brother-in-law Daniel Watkins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 6, 2015 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL with Pastor Wayne Derber officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Mound Cemetery Somonauk, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the funeral home in Somonauk.
