Adam J. Hollingsworth, 36, of Earlville, IL passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his home in Earlville. Adam is now at peace with his grandparents, Joseph and Wilma Krienert. He was born September 21, 1984 in Sandwich, IL the son of Duane and Anita (Krienert) Hollingsworth. He graduated from Leland High School in 2003. He worked as a mental health technician at Mabley in Dixon, IL and for many years, he was his grandfather’s caretaker.
He is survived by his parents Duane and Anita Hollingsworth; one sister Laura (Kevin) Landsteiner; two uncles, Mike and Ken Krienert; great Aunt Loretta Krienert; his dog Alfred; Adam was very blessed to have the love of two other families, The Poss Family: Linda, Tyke, Jimmy, Katie, Peep’s, and Misty; and the Marci Kline family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, his paternal grandparents Donald and Donna Hollingsworth; great-grandmother May Gatiss.
According to Adam’s wishes there will be no visitation, or service. Private graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL.
