Misty Lyn Heath, 48, of Leland, IL passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 2, 1969 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Dennis Ray and Brenda C. Brewer Craddock. She married Danny Heath, Sr. on January 26, 1991 in Somonauk. Misty was employed by the Leland and Plano School Districts as a bus driver, she enjoyed her time with the school children. She also worked at Rambo’s Bar and Grill for 8 years. Misty enjoyed gardening, flowers, concerts, her dogs, but her greatest love of all was her family.
She is survived by her husband, Danny of Leland, IL; her mother, Brenda of Leland, IL; two sons, Danny Heath, Jr and Dalton Heath both of Leland, IL; two sisters, Rebecca Craddock of Hemlock, MI, formerly of Leland, IL and Sarah Carmen Chiarelli of Somonauk, IL; one brother, Dennis Sarah Craddock of Millington, IL; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis.
Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk with Pastor Derek Johnsen officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Grove Cemetery in Waterman. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the funeral home in Somonauk.
