Marshall Harley Roy, 28 of Marseilles, IL formerly of Mendota and raised in Sandwich, IL passed away suddenly April 30, 2017. He was born April 24, 1989 in Aurora, IL the son of Richard and Donna Ludwig Roy. He was a boat captain for the Long Island Costal and Aftermath Disaster Recovery.
He is survived by his mother, Donna of Earlville, IL; his father, Richard of Marseilles, IL; four daughters, Cadence and Vella-Mae Roy of Marseilles, Myla Jane Kleinprinz, her mother Jordan Kleinprinz of Sheridan, IL and Liliana Moon Roy of Mendota, IL; three sisters, Jessica Rios of Olympia, Washington, Noelle Mae Roy of Oswego, IL and Cassandra Maureen Roy of Makanda, IL; several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He was loved by his many friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother Jullian Roy in infancy and his fiancé Ann Marie Baskerville the mother of Cadence and Vella-Mae Roy.
Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. There will be a celebration of life to follow at his home in Marseilles at 4:00 p.m.. A Grievance Fund is being established at The First National Bank in Sandwich, IL, formerly Castle Bank.
