Lucille K. Blazek, 96, of Leland, IL, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at Aperion Care, in Marseilles, IL. She was born December 23, 1923 in Spring Valley, IL, the daughter of Walter D. and Bessie L. (Beckley) Shepard. She married Anton F. Blazek on January 26, 1973 in Leland, IL. Lucille held various positions at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, IL for many years.
She is survived by her children, Dennis Copeland of Ottawa, IL, Jerry (Cathy) Copeland of Sheridan, IL, and Deanne Bergeron of Streator, IL; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bessie Shepard; her husband, Anton Blazek; her brother’s, Donald Shepard and Leslie Shepard; and one granddaughter, Katie Copeland.
