Linda Sue Heiston

Linda Heiston, 74, of Earlville, IL, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 at her home, with her loving husband and dog by her side. She was born July 29, 1949 in Mendota, IL, the daughter of Claude and Victoria (Pavlock) Baker. Linda attended Holy Cross School before graduating from Mendota High School in the class of 1967. She married Arvis Nantz and had two sons. She later married Rick L. Heitson on February 8, 1979 in Ottawa, IL. Linda worked a variety of factories in the area. She enjoyed spending time in her yard, mowing and manicuring her yard with her dog, Charles William, close by. Linda also enjoyed camping and the all fun the outdoors provides. Most of all Linda loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Heiston of Earlville, IL; her sons, Arvis (Angela) Nantz, Jr. of TX and Eric Nantz of Mendota, IL; her grandchildren Avory and Ian; her sisters, Patty Klaffer of WI and Wanda (Richard) Weber of Mendota, IL; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jerry Baker.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville. A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the funeral home in Earlville. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mendota, IL.
