Lena L. Sellers, 80, of Earlville, Illinois passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Heritage Health in Mendota, IL. She was born on September 16, 1941 in Earl Township, IL, the daughter of Thomas W. and Sarah Frances (Shahen) Joslin Sr. She graduated from Earlville High School. Lena worked as a CNA for several years, was a homemaker, and enjoyed the farm life with the animals. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children.
She is survived by three sons, John Brewer of Monticello, IL, Curt Brewer of Earlville, IL and Edward (Dee Pence) Brewer of Streator, IL; Three grandchildren, Kylie (Miguel) Colon, Jacquelynn (Ron) McBee and Jacob (Jennifer) Brewer; Seven great grandchildren, Marlie , Mia, and Malia Colon, Landon, McBee, Lane, Waylon, and Emilissa Brewer; Two brothers, Thomas (Yvonne) Joslin, Jr. of Sandwich, IL, and John (Linda) Joslin of MN., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband C. "Nick" Sellers, and one brother, James Joslin.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Earlville United Methodist Church 313 Stilson St. Earlville, IL until the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. in the church, with Pastor Sandy Smith officiating. Burial of her urn will follow in Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Earlville United Methodist Church.
