Kenneth “Doug” Bidstrup, 34, of Corinth, MS, formerly of Earlville, IL passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 in Corinth, Mississippi. He was born July 27, 1987 in Sandwich, IL the son of Kenneth “Tim” and Dawn (Hartman) Bidstrup. He was a member of Earlville United Presbyterian Church. Doug enjoyed skateboarding, playing his guitar and basketball. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his father, Kenneth “Tim” (Nancy) Bidstrup of Earlville, IL, his mother Dawn Spence of Corinth, MS; His brothers and sisters, Christopher (Tanea) Bidstrup, Aimee (Clint) Settlemires, and Nicholas (Calee) Bidstrup all of Corinth, MS, Christopher Blackman of Coal City, IL, and Heather Phillips of Morris, IL; His grandparents, Kenneth and Nancy Bidstrup of Earlville, IL; His grandmother Florence Allen of Corinth, MS; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Hartman, grandparents, Eugene and Bea Vidal ; Great grandparents, Ernie and Hazel Helm and Jack and Asta Bidstrup, George and Freida Pester and Charles and Elizabeth Hartman. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Earlville United Presbyterian Church in Earlville, IL with Pastors Del Keilman and Wendy Keller officiating. Burial will follow in Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville, IL. Memorials may be directed to Earlville United Presbyterian Church or to the donor’s choice.
