Jane M. McCormick, 76, of Newark, Illinois passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born April 7, 1945 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Joseph and Mildred (Kusyn) Planicka. She received her bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois and began teaching. She later joined Lucent Technology, earning a management position. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by several special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, and her dog Zoe.
In accordance with Jane’s wishes there will be no memorial service, or visitation. Cremation rites were entrusted to Turner-Eighner Funeral Home.
