Ignacia Gaspar de Gonzalez, 86, of Sandwich, IL passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville. She was born April 22, 1927 in Mexico the daughter of Santiago Gaspar and Iduvijes Mendez. She enjoyed many wonderful years of marriage to Alonso Gonzalez until his passing in 1996.
She is survived by one daughter, Hermila Castro; four sons, Cayetano Gonzalez, Feliberto Gonzalez, Luis Santiago Gonzalez and Alonso Gonzalez; Forty-four grandchildren, Ocataviano, Usvaldo, Jeorge, Hector, Enrique, Oscar, Jesus, Carlos, Feliberto, Olga, Mayra, Saul, Pedro Ignacio, Juan, Ceasar, Socorro, Patrocinio, Noe, Fabian, Domingo, Angelica, Veronica, Travis, Jesus, Alonso, Socorro, Doralma, Silvia, Luzorlia, Sonia, Brissaerica, Rosana, Marthaelena, Faviolia, Carmen, Alma, Norma, Lesvia, Sandra, Angelica, Vielia, Juana, Maggie, Lucia Judith; many great grandchildren; one sister, Sara Gaspar and one brother, Nicholas Gaspar.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alonzo; four daughters, Juana Mendoza, Iduvijes Valdiviezo, Berthtqalicia Gonzalez and Elisabeth Cruz.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk. Burial will follow in Mexico at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the funeral home in Somonauk. Memorials may be directed to the family.
