Frederick A. Dollman, 84, of Yorkville passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. He was born September 23, 1930 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Frederick H. and Luella (Liakakos) Dollman. Fred was a life time resident of Yorkville, served in the Air Force where he met and married his wife Vida June VanLandingham on February 1, 1952 in Albany, GA. He was a member of Yorkville Congregational Church and First Christian of Albany, GA. Fred was a Commercial Insurance Underwriter for Country Companies, owned his own business, and was blessed to have many years of retirement with his wife in Florida. He enjoyed exercising, playing golf and cards with his friends at Cedardell, traveling with his wife and relaxing on his deck with a glass of red wine. Fred will be greatly missed by his extended family and many friends.
He is survived by two daughters, Pamela Snell of Naperville, IL and Toni (Robert) Dhuse of Yorkville, IL; three sons, Mikeal (Dolores) Dollman and Jeff Dollman both of Yorkville, IL and Eric (Jill) Dollman of Stamford, CT; seven grandchildren, Erin Jensen, Paige (Michael) Quartullo, Kyle Dhuse, Zoe Dollman, Jordann Dhuse, Dylan Dollman and Dashiell Dollman; two great grandchildren, Beau Johnson and Brantley Quartullo; one sister, Nan Johnson of Sandwich, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Vida June, and one sister, Georgia Ann Fenton.
Private funeral services were held at Yorkville Congregational Church on March 17, 2015 with Reverend Mark Gregory officiating. Burial was held at Elmwood Cemetery in Yorkville, IL.
