David R. Fuchs, 50, of Leland, IL passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, IL. He was born October 4, 1971 in DeKalb, IL the son of Jerry and Barb (Bingham) Fuchs. He was a member of Sons of the American Legion of Leland. He was the Owner and Operator of D.R. Fuchs Construction of Leland, IL. He liked the outdoors, fishing, camping, woodworking with his hands, and had survival skills. He loved animals, including his dog Enot.
He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Barb of Leland, two sisters April (Troy) Hutson of Sandwich, IL. and Cristie Fuchs of Leland, IL. One daughter, one niece Paxton, and one nephew Garett.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Duane and Helen Fuchs, Georgia Long and Ray Bingham, one uncle Brian Fuchs, and one cousin Ritchie Severson.
According to David’s wishes there will be no visitation and a Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Cremation was entrusted to Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL.
