Virginia F. Way, 85, of Plano passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Hillside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Yorkville. She was born January 14, 1930 in Aurora, the daughter of Charles F. and Mary C. Roth Day. Virginia was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano. She worked at Holland Drugs and Town & Country Restaurant. Virginia enjoyed sewing and working in the yard but most of all, she loved her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary C. George D. Murphy of Newark, IL, Patricia Lloyd of Pueblo, CO and Nancy King of Streamwood, IL; three sons, Michael Debra Way of Montgomery, IL, Stephen Way of Lombard, IL and Joseph Donna Way of Somonauk, IL; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Jane Cavanaugh of Clearwater, FL; one sister-in-law, Barbara Day of Venice, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Barbara Jean Way, one granddaughter, LeAnn Way, one sister, Caroline Day and one brother, Donald Day.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano with Father Andy Davy, M.I.C. officiating. Burial will follow at Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano with a prayer service being recited at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
