Thomas D. Schofield Jr., 40, of Yorkville, IL passed away, Friday, September 7, 2012 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born August 11, 1972 in Aurora, IL the son of Thomas and Nel (Flowers) Schofield. Thomas was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Oswego, IL. He was a bass guitar player at his church and enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family members, especially his nieces.
Beloved son of Thomas and Nel Schofield and survived by his grandparents: Mabel Schofield of Oswego, IL and Loren and Patricia Flowers of Millington, IL; two brothers: Jeremy (Linda) Schofield of Plano, IL and Aaron (Tara) Schofield of Silvis, IL; four nieces: Lauren, Courtney, Olive and Nona; several Aunts, Uncles and cousins and a special uncle, Harry Flowers.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rev. David Schofield and his uncle, Tim Schofield.
Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL with Pastor Daniel Dycus officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
