Rosina Florian, 87, of Plano, Illinois passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in Valley West Hospital Sandwich, IL. She was born July 26, 1927 in Ruma, Yugoslovia the daughter of Sebastian and Theresa (Schulz) Lehner. She married Michael Florian Sr. on March 3, 1946 in Asten, Austria. Rosina was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Plano, IL, where she was active in numerous church organizations and functions. She loved to cook, crochet and was a Plano Reaper Fan. Her greatest love of all was her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Ava (Robert) Tillmon of McKinney, TX and Sue Jones of Keller, TX; three sons, Michael (Janice) Florian of Plano,IL, Steven Florian of Medford, MN and Robert (Mindy) Florian of Faribault, MN; seven grandchildren, Nicole (Ryan) Morris, Michele Kujawski, Heather (Dan) Schiradelly, Carley Jones, Michael Jones, Ashley Florian and Lilly Florian and seven great grandchildren, Austin, Madelynn, Eliza, Owen, Mikayla, Trinity and Clara and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael, one grandson Larry Tillmon, two sisters, Mary Rupp and Agatha Enderle..
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Plano, IL, with Rev. Andy Davy M.I.C. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery Bristol, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2013 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to a Charity of one’s choice.
