Ronald E. Skaggs

Ronald E. Skaggs, 74, of Plano, IL formerly of Princeton passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 6, 2007 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich.He was born September 19, 1932 in Princeton, IL the son of Carl and Gladys I. Rauh Skaggs. He married Rosemary Swearingen on July 10, 1955 in Princeton, IL. He was formerly employed by Town and Country Market as the Produce Manager in Plano for many years. He enjoyed working for Ron and Sue Saballus in Plano for many years caring for their property. He was a member of the Plano Lions Club for 42 years and Plano Credit Union where he served on the Board of Directors. He enjoyed meeting new people and the company of his friends. He had a great love for antique cars and his dogs and cats.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary of Plano; three children, Rhonda Belmore of Adairsville, GA and Randy (Kim) Skaggs of Sandwich, IL and Robin (Denny) Bahl of Somonauk, IL; nine grandchildren; Ashlie and Tye Belmore, Angela, Derick and Logan Skaggs, Stacy and Kristy Albrecht and Kaleigh and Kami Bahl; one step sister, Janet (Lynn) Hale of Ladd, IL and one step brother, Ted (Mary Jane) Dean of Spring Valley, IL and two special grandchildren, Nicci and Cassi Twait.

He was preceded in death by his father and step mother, Carl and Mary Skaggs; his mother and step father, Gladys and Clifford Dean.
