Marcie Lynn "Sunshine" Anetsberger

Marcie L. “Sunshine” Anetsberger, 38, of Plano, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 3, 1978 in Elmhurst, IL, the daughter of David A. and Linda C. Krieger Reid. She married Christopher B. Anetsberger on June 8, 2002 in Lombard, IL. Marcie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lombard and Cross Lutheran Church in Yorkville. She was a developmental therapist and thoroughly enjoyed working with special needs children from birth to 3-years-old. Marcie enjoyed planning family outings, as well as trips to the zoo, museums and get togethers. She was always planning games and activities for the kids. Marcie loved working with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Foundation but her greatest love of all was her family, especially her children.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher of Plano, IL; her children, Lillian and twins, Logan and Isabella Anetsberger of Plano, IL; her parents; her father and mother-in-law; one sister, Laura Jerry Fink of Lombard, IL; two brothers, David Lisa Reid, Jr. of Muskego, WI and Michael Jamie Reid of Plano, IL; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Cross Lutheran Church in Yorkville, IL with Pastor Erik Gauss officiating. Burial will follow at Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Yorkville, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL.
