James E. Blomberg, 45, of Aurora, IL formerly of Sandwich, IL passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL, He was born May 3, 1963 at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, IL, the son of Ronald H. and Loretta M. (Cupp) Blomberg. He was currently employed at Addison & Associates Security, LTD. as a Sergeant.
He is survived his father, Ronald Blomberg of Sandwich; three brothers, Ronald (Sandra) Blomberg, Jr. of Pickens, So. Carolina, Michael A. (Jillene) Blomberg of Sherman, IL and Kevin Blomberg of Aurora, IL; Raquel (Neal) Hansen of Aurora, IL who was like a daughter; three grandchildren, Robert, Lillian and David Hansen all of Aurora; several nieces and nephews, to include a special nephew, Kevin D. Blomberg, Jr. of Waterman.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of the service on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the funeral home.
