Christina Rowe, 30, of Newark, IL passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 unexpectedly. She was born April 14, 1994 in Elgin, IL the daughter of David and Amy (Schorsch) Rowe. She enjoyed coloring, diamond art and other creative projects. She loved cooking, baking, singing and playing games on her phone. She also enjoyed watching TV, such as 90 Day Fiancé, The Bachelor, The Walking Dead, The Vampire Diaries and anything horror related. She loved being an actor in 2 local charity haunted houses. One of her favorite things was going through haunted houses, any time of the year, even though she hated clowns. Most of all, she loved spending time with her daughters, her family and her many friends.
She is survived by her father David & step-mother Mary Perez and her mother Amy & step-father Jeff Carlson; two daughters, Janelle & Juniper; her siblings, Joshua (Angela) their children Alaina & Asher, Justin (Kayla) their children Ledger & Ruby, Caitlyn (Matthew) their daughter Coraline, Lucius, Lily, Gunnar (Alyssa) their children Lyle & Brantley. Grandfather Richard Rowe; Aunts and Uncles, Linda (Tony) Cooper, Cindy (Don) Stegeman, Michelle Murphy, Scott Rowe, Laura (Duane) Willms, Linda (Scott) Harmon and Alice (Art) Lloyd, numerous cousins, friends and her dog Lucifer.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Audrey Rowe, and Berne & Jean Schorsch.
A short prayer Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. A Celebration of Life with Viewing following the prayer service until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
