Albert Lawrence "Larry" Williams

Albert Lawrence “Larry” Williams, 73, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 13, 1939 in Humphreys, MO the son of James Albert and Ada Emmiline (Boram) Williams. Larry was Baptized and a member of Leland United Methodist Church. He retired from Lyon Metal after 38 years of service and then worked at Aurora Bearing for 10 years.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years: Kathleen Anne “Katie” (Cate) Williams; his children: Albert Dean (Brenda), Kenneth, Karen, Scott (Tina), Travis, Catherine (Jerry) and John Earl (Lauren) Stimpson; three sisters: Helen Willwerth of Florida, Shirley Temen of Illinois and June (Jim) McCoy of Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. His special caregivers Anna and Joe Marcano.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Irene Foote and Barbara Williams; one brother: Robert Williams.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL with Pastor Lynn Cate officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL.
