Patsy M. Sondgeroth, 67, of Ottawa, IL formerly of Plano and Earlville, IL passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 in Heritage Woods in Ottawa, IL. She was born March 12, 1945 in Sterling, IL the daughter of Harold and Wanda (Smith) Harrison. She married Peter A. Sondgeroth on July 4, 1969 in Rock Falls, IL. She was a former member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Earlville, IL, and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano, IL.

She is survived by three daughters, Jodi (Kevin) Moore of Mendota, IL, Amy Harper of Mendota, IL and Lori (Scott) Karstens of LaMoille, IL; nine grandchildren; one sister, Carol (Ron) Davis of Rock Falls, IL; one brother, Tony Harrison of California; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Abell, her parents, her step-father, Henry Gill, and her husband, Peter in 2010.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 18, 2012 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Earlville, IL with Rev. Robert Spilman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Earlville, IL. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL. 67 is pretty young, but as previously said, she outlived all expectations. Prayers to Jodi and family, and her sisters and theirs. Hopefully your mom is resting comfortably in heaven and is pain free. :) Hugs to all; give Shea a big hug from me.

We're sorry to hear of Patsys passing.May you find comfort in the Lord at this sad time.Helen and Pat spent many nights together drinking coffee,smoking and playing yahtzee waiting for Jody and Rhonda to come home.Maybe now she will find the peace and comfort in heaven that eluded her on earth.Helen and Pat were neighbors and friends for many years.

This comment is from RTBones. I acldaenticly deleted it (sorry!) from the queue: Thanks for the response, Courtney. I have always wondered why this was. This doesnt make 63101 s point any less valid. It is gouging anybody coming through the airport, out of town or not. While I realize that the official line makes sense to somebody, to me, it is just plain silly. Since customers pay only a portion of the operating cost of their ride with the remainder paid by those sales taxes, Metro charges a higher fare to those visitors. I live in the city. I pay the transportation taxes mentioned. So why again do I have to pay the upcharge?The official response begs a question: how many other systems have this difference in charging for the SAME ROUTE?
